Mount Isa Workforce Forum addressing local jobs and skills challenges
The Mount Isa Regional Jobs Committee (RJC) Local Workforce Community Forum, held on 13 August 2024, brought together government representatives, community organisations, education providers, industry leaders and employment services to collaboratively address local workforce challenges and opportunities. The forum served as a platform for productive discussion, idea sharing and strategic planning focused on economic empowerment and workforce development in the Mount Isa LGA. Insights gathered will guide the development of the RJC’s Annual Action Plan, supporting sustainable, community-driven solutions for a stronger regional future.
