Mount Isa Workforce Data Literacy & Survey Co-Design Project
Building Regional Capability. Strengthening Evidence. Supporting Local Solutions.
Throughout 2025, the Mount Isa Regional Jobs Committee partnered with Ronan Analytics to deliver a region-first initiative designed to improve data literacy, strengthen local capability, and build a robust evidence base to guide workforce solutions.
The project brought together in-person workshops, online technical sessions, and a co-designed regional workforce survey. The survey captured workforce realities from across Mount Isa, Camooweal, Northwest Queensland and surrounding service footprints—ensuring insights remained grounded in lived experience, ethical practice and Indigenous data governance principles.
This initiative aligns directly with the Queensland Workforce Strategy 2022–2032 and demonstrates the Mount Isa RJC’s commitment to place-based, evidence-driven regional workforce planning.
