His professional journey spans roles with the Normanton Recovery and Community Wellbeing Service and Save the Children/54 Reasons, where he has led men’s behavioural change programs, youth initiatives, and collaborative service networks. With qualifications in Mental Health and specialist training in cultural healing practices, Chris brings expertise across alcohol and other drugs, employment, families, healing, health, justice, mental health and wellbeing, suicide prevention, and youth training.

As Chair of the Mount Isa Regional Jobs Committee since its establishment in 2024, Chris has provided trusted leadership and strategic direction. Representing the Community Representatives & Groups, Health & Social Assistance sector, and Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), he is widely respected for his ethical approach, collaborative style, and ability to unite diverse voices around regional workforce challenges.
